Terms of use
Effective from 13 October 2026
1. General
- These Terms govern the use of the mathme.lol game at https://mathme.lol (the “Game”).
- The Game is run by its owner (“we”). Contact: contact@mathme.lol.
- The Game is free. There are no payments, purchases or ads.
- How we handle data is described in the Privacy policy.
2. Technical requirements
You need an internet-connected device and an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) with JavaScript and cookies enabled. Notifications are optional; on iPhone they work after adding the Game to your Home Screen.
3. Account
- You create an account with a nickname, emoji, country and language. Don’t use your real name or anyone else’s data as your nickname.
- After signing up you receive a key - the only way to log in. Keep it safe (e.g. download the .txt file) and never show it to anyone. Whoever has the key has access to the account. You can replace the key with a new one in your profile at any time.
- We don’t know your key and cannot recover it. You can move your account to another device with the key file or a one-time code/QR from your profile.
- You can delete your account at any time in your profile. Deletion is permanent.
4. Game rules
- You send a challenge to a player of your choice, picking a grade (3-8) and a category. The challenged player has 12 hours and 3 tries. If they answer correctly, they get the point; if they run out of time or tries, the challenger gets it.
- Between the same two players, ranking points are awarded at most 3 times per day; daily challenge limits also apply.
- Practice and the daily question give no ranking points - they give experience (levels), day streaks and badges.
- Points, levels and badges have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.
5. Fair play - you may not
- use offensive, vulgar or misleading nicknames or group names, or impersonate others;
- create multiple accounts or use bots and scripts to earn points;
- harass other players with challenges or invitations;
- try to break into, overload or bypass the Game’s security, or exploit bugs (please report them to our contact address);
- enter other people’s personal data in the Game.
6. AI-generated questions
- Questions are written and checked by artificial intelligence, and we review them. Mistakes can still happen.
- Report a wrong question with the “⚠️ Report a mistake” button next to the result. We review reported questions and remove wrong ones from the Game.
- In case of obvious question errors or abuse we may correct points.
7. Violations
If someone breaks these Terms, we may change their nickname, remove a group, or restrict or delete the account. Report violations to our contact address.
8. Liability
The Game is a free educational pastime. We do our best to keep it running, but we don’t guarantee constant availability. We are not liable for losing an account because a key was lost or disclosed. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights under mandatory law.
9. Complaints
Send complaints about the Game to contact@mathme.lol with your nickname, player ID and a description of the problem. We’ll reply within 14 days.
10. Changes
We may change these Terms for important reasons (e.g. new features, changes in law). We’ll announce changes in the Game at least 7 days in advance. If you don’t accept them, you can delete your account.
11. Final provisions
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution and the courts competent under applicable law.
